Description

TERM 5: 8 WEEKS (OCTOBER, NOVEMBER & DECEMBER)

This class is suitable for children of Primary School age, 6-11 years old.
Children must be confortable to be left alone in the care of the instructors for the session and able to go to the toilet unassisted.
We trust the parents/guardians to decide if their child is ready to attend these sessions, if you are unsure please email before booking.

Please arrive 5 minutes before the session, ready to start (we do not have changing facilities).
Please wear comfortable clothing for exercise, clothing must cover knees, armpits and stomachs (anything else limits what moves we can safely teach your child).
All long hair must be tied back and all jewellery removed or covered for class.
We do not have space to store scooters/bikes, please only bring essentials to the studio.
Please bring a water bottle. We do not allow any food/drinks other than water in the studio.
All drop offs and collections are from the car part, we do not allow spectators for aerial classes.

This is a mixed aerial class suitable for all levels of experience and ability. Participants will learn from a mix of trapeze, aerial silks, cocoons and aerial hoops.

Class will be made up roughly of a 5 minute cardio and joint mobilisation warm up, 45 minutes on the aerial equipment and then a 5 minute cool down with stretching. Classes will focus on learning new skills and tricks at each participants individual level, conditioning moves to strengthen for those next level tricks and working on correct technique. Aerial is a creative art and some classes will focus on creating combinations, routine building and movement to music.

Children aged 10+ are also welcome in our youths sessions, if they have done aerial before or you believe the older session may be more suited to them. Please email if unsure before booking.
